Details

We are seeking an enthusiastic Data professional who is passionate about analyzing large amounts of data to combat financial crime. You will be part of the Oversight Data Analytics & MI team at ABN AMRO, which is committed to providing group-wide insights into the progress of DFC transitions and identifying risks for further decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Power BI and SQL to combine and aggregate data from various sources and make it available through reports and dashboards.
  • Provide analysis for reports, including root cause and trend analyses, to offer informed advice.
  • Ensure information products align with underlying objectives, working collaboratively with your Scrum team.
  • Facilitate fact-based DFC risk management across the bank while collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Mentor Junior Data Analysts and maintain the quality of the team's output.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in the BI/Data field.
  • A master's degree with a strong data component (e.g., Econometrics, Data Science).
  • Experience with Power BI, holding or ensuring obtaining of PL-300 certification within one month of onboarding.
  • Proficient in database handling (ETL) and SQL.
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Python is a plus.
  • Strong focus on risk management with an understanding of societal and banking interests.
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
