What you’ll do

Reporting to the Head of CTO Office, you will contribute to building a zero-emission future by co-leading the development of new digital business models and accelerating the digitalization of Eneco. Your activities include:

• New Tech business development: Identify and develop new tech business opportunities, conduct feasibility studies, and create investment theses including financial models and business cases.
• Go-To-Market: Lead launch, go-to-market strategies, and scaling of new tech ventures while monitoring performance and adjusting strategies.
• Funding: Prepare materials and mandates to ensure funding needs for new tech businesses, liaising with Legal, ventures, business, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders up to Board level and Tech leadership to ensure commitment.

Is this about you?

You are detail-oriented and effective across multiple stakeholder contexts, combining an entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical skills. You have:

• 3+ years in consultancy, investment banking, accounting (@ the Big Four), or similar, combined with significant (5+ years) experience as an operator in a growth/start-up environment.
• Master’s degree in economics/business or computer science/engineering.
• Strong record of developing, launching, and pivoting new business models in start-up or scale-up environments.
• Proven ability to lead initiatives from concept to implementation with measurable outcomes.
• Excellent quantitative modelling skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience with strategic projects in complex stakeholder landscapes.
