Role overview
We are looking for an Offensive Security Engineer to work on Teleport’s Red Team. You will develop a strong understanding of our cloud and corporate infrastructure and use that knowledge to find gaps in our security posture. When you find exploitation paths, you will work with the Defense and Intelligence team to add detections to Panther, Wiz, and Jamf. You will collaborate with security teammates and the Cloud team to provide feedback on cloud architecture and detection & response logic.
Projects you may work on
- Engage with external red teams to test cloud security.
- Plan and execute internal red team-style cloud operations.
- Discover and assist triaging cloud security architecture and configuration flaws.
- Review cloud architecture changes and provide security expertise.
Responsibilities
- Perform offensive security engagements against cloud and corporate infrastructure.
- Identify exploitation paths and work with Defense & Intelligence to create detections in Panther, Wiz, and Jamf.
- Provide actionable feedback to Cloud and engineering teams on secure cloud architecture and configurations.
- Triage and assist remediation of discovered security issues.
Requirements
- Strong AWS security experience.
- Red team / offensive security experience.
- Experience or familiarity with detection and response and cloud security architectures.
- Go or Rust experience a plus.
- GCP experience a plus.
- Experience with or willingness to work with Panther, Wiz, and Jamf for detections.
