Role Description

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement algorithms to extend the state of the art in generative AI, computer vision, robotics, and other technology areas surrounding NVIDIA's business.
  • Collaborate with other team members, teams, and/or external researchers.
  • Transfer your research to product groups to enable new products or types of products. Deliverables include prototypes, patents, and products.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a PhD Degree in relevant disciplines (CS, CE, EE, Physics, Math).
  • Research experience in at least one of the following areas:
    • Multimodal Foundation Models
    • Image, Video, or Audio Generation
    • Diffusion Models
    • Large Language Models
    • Vision-Language Models
    • Action-Based Transformers
    • Long Context Methods
    • Physics-Based Simulation
    • Flow Based Generative Models
    • AI for Science including:
      • Drug Discovery
      • Climate Modeling
      • Weather Forecasting
      • Structural Biology
  • Strong research track record and publication record at top-tier conferences.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong programming skills: Python preferred. Experience with large-scale model training is a plus.

Salary

The hourly rate for interns ranges from 30 USD to 90 USD, determined based on position, location, year in school, degree, and experience. Interns are also eligible for benefits.
