View all our benefits.As a PKI DevOps engineer, you are responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing our software components, primarily using Python. Knowledge of PKI and cryptography is a plus but not required – as long as you are eager to learn and develop in this area. With your DevOps experience and security mindset, you play a crucial role in improving our processes and ensuring security.

You and your job

  • Implementing changes and improvements to our software components and development environments.
  • Having knowledge and experience working in a DevOps team.
  • Tackling complex incidents and problems and ensuring an adequate solution.
  • Acting as a point of contact and advisor for colleagues within the team and other departments.
  • Actively contributing to the improvement of our security standards throughout the entire development cycle.

We use AppviewX and Microsoft ADCS to facilitate our PKI services. We are expanding our service offerings with solutions such as certificate-based machine authentication, auto enrollment, and mobile device management. Our team also plays a vital in the future shift towards cloud services and virtual containers.

Our team consists of five experienced DevOps Engineers and works according to a Scrum/Kanban approach. We have strong expertise in PKI and are responsible for the entire trust chain within the bank. The team acts as the central point for all PKI-related issues and influences everything related to certificates. Our goal is to increase our impact within the bank, automate our services, and support the organization in its growth in a digital age. You will play a key role in this mission.

You and your talent
You are someone who is always looking for ways to improve processes and critically evaluate current practices. You take responsibility for delivering high-quality and secure software and have experience with Python and the DevOps way of working. You have development expertise and combine this with broad knowledge in other areas such as test and deployment automation, making you versatile within the team.

We are looking for an engineer who can easily adapt and quickly find their way in complex, large-scale environments. Additionally, we require:

· Knowledge of Python.

· Knowledge and experience working in a DevOps team.

· Security-aware mindset.

· Maintaining documentation of our products and source code.

· Good command of the English language.

Knowledge in the following areas is a plus:

· Knowledge of PKI and/or cryptography.

· Experience with Powershell and/or Windows.
