Bloomberg is a global leader in business and financial information, news, and insight. The PORT Enterprise solution helps portfolio managers and risk professionals achieve performance and risk objectives through detailed multi-asset analytics. This role is part of the PORT Enterprise Support team based in New York and is client-facing, supporting sophisticated buy-side institutions and partnering directly with portfolio managers, risk and performance analysts, and middle-/back-office professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Build a comprehensive understanding of the features and capabilities of the PORT Enterprise product through training and on-the-job learning to manage client inquiries efficiently
  • Troubleshoot issues related to the PORT Enterprise product and assess business and operational impact
  • Support client inquiries regarding portfolio performance, attribution, and risk methodologies
  • Identify gaps and opportunities to introduce best practices and new processes to enhance efficiency and workflows
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Implementation, Portfolio Sales, and Portfolio Engineering teams to improve client experience and product performance
  • Foster strong relationships with key PORT Enterprise clients to enhance their experience with the product
  • Manage client expectations with timely and effective communication during systemic issues or escalations
  • Escalate issues and partner with Product and Engineering teams on enhancements and client-requested improvements

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services or at a financial technology company
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, portfolio construction, performance attribution, portfolio risk, tracking error, and fixed income analytics
  • Experience with fixed income and other financial instruments, including associated cash flows and analytics
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate problems and provide solutions
  • Ownership mindset and drive to resolve issues end-to-end
  • Aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies, products, and procedures
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
  • Demonstrated career progression and ownership within previous roles
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of workflows used by portfolio managers, risk professionals, and performance attribution specialists
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI and Visio, and familiarity with Bloomberg products
  • Familiarity with APIs, data structures, or programming concepts (e.g., Python) and interest in emerging technologies such as AI to improve workflows and internal tools
  • Business proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, or other languages (supporting diverse client languages)
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or equivalent

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: 100,000 - 130,000 USD annually (plus benefits and bonus)
