- Solid theoretical knowledge of communication systems, communication theory, linear algebra, detection and estimation theory, baseband signal processing algorithms, and channel coding.
- Experience in LTE/5G NR L2 scheduler algorithm design.
- Experience with wireless algorithm performance characterization and analysis.
- Wireless modem design, development, and commercialization experience.
- Seek and apply AI/ML approaches into radio access networks for 5G/6G.
- Define software dependencies, identify requirements, and holes to infrastructure layer/vRAN stack.
- Work with ecosystem and showcase gains of new approaches.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree (or equivalent experience) or PhD in Computers, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 12+ years of proven experience.
- Radio access network or 5G experience at PHY, MAC, and/or whole stack level.
- Experience in use cases realization on Edge over wireless world such as IoT, manufacturing, agriculture, surveillance, or AR/VR.
- Strong statistical analysis expertise.
- Understanding of mathematics behind different approaches.
- Strong hands-on experience in programming languages such as Python and/or C++, R, Matlab.
