Information about the position

We see design as a crucial element of achieving our mission, so designers are represented at all levels, including domain leadership. As our new Product Design Manager, you will join Member Lifecycle domain and will be empowered to focus on people's needs and transform them into useful, usable and enjoyable experiences.

The mission of the Member Lifecycle domain is to effectively communicate Vinted's value proposition to new members early in their journey on the Marketplace. We partner with Marketing teams to raise awareness of Vinted and increase the user base size, while also co-creating engagement campaigns for existing members to ensure an active and vibrant platform.

The Member Lifecycle domain aims to oversee all communication, making it clear, consistent, coherent, and concise across all channels and touchpoints in the app. Additionally, we collaborate with the Localisation team to ensure that content is accurately adapted for global audiences, maintaining cultural relevance, linguistic precision, and a seamless user experience across all regions.

You will join the domain leadership team and will form a cross-functional partnership between Engineering, Product, Design and Data Science & Analytics to define the vision, strategy and ways of working within the area.

Next to the Domain leadership you will be part of the Design Leadership team where you will interact and learn from other design leaders in the Marketplace to create coherent Vinted user experience, evolve product design function and mature design culture at Vinted. We’re looking for someone who strives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about the product we’re building together.

When you step into this role, you will be responsible for building a high-performing design team. This includes hiring, establishing effective interdisciplinary processes and clear goals. In the longer term, your challenge will be to drive the growth of the Member Lifecycle Domain by consistently advocating for our customers in strategic decisions and addressing their needs through delivering experiences that are useful, usable, and enjoyable for all.

In this position, you’ll

• Join your product, design and engineering leadership peers in the domain’s strategic planning
• Deliver the user experience vision for the Member Lifecycle domain, and a plan of how we’ll achieve it
• Continuously align the priorities, objectives and clarify how success looks like
• Ensure high-quality design execution
• Shape the design team in the domain - recruit, hire and confirm the team structure
• Support the growth of the designers, including conducting performance and compensation reviews
• Proactively contribute to improving the quality of design operations company-wide
• Champion Vinted design culture within the organization and outside of it
• Cross-collaborate with designers and partners from other disciplines and domains

The salary range for this position is € 78,100 - € 105,700 gross per year.
