Details

Glean is the Work AI platform that helps everyone work smarter with AI. What began as the industry’s most advanced enterprise search has evolved into a full-scale Work AI ecosystem, powering intelligent Search, an AI Assistant, and scalable AI agents on one secure, open platform. With over 100 enterprise SaaS connectors, flexible LLM choice, and robust APIs, Glean gives organizations the infrastructure to govern, scale, and customize AI across their entire business. At its core, Glean is redefining how enterprises find, use, and act on knowledge through an Enterprise Graph and Personal Knowledge Graph that deliver personalized, context-aware responses and agentic capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Design beautiful, human-centered AI experiences, making complex, powerful technology feel simple, trustworthy, and delightful to use.
  • Push the boundaries of AI interaction design by exploring new patterns for discovering information, creating content, and accomplishing goals with AI assistance.
  • Own features end-to-end: drive product work from early concept through launch, conduct user research, and translate insights into elegant solutions.
  • Prototype and iterate rapidly on 0→1 concepts, validate through research and feedback, and refine with attention to detail.
  • Develop deep intuition for AI behavior and design experiences that leverage LLM strengths while handling their limitations.
  • Obsess over craft and detail to ensure interactions feel intelligent, responsive, and helpful.
  • Shape product strategy by partnering with PMs, championing users through data and research, and identifying opportunities for breakthrough design moments.
  • Elevate the team by contributing to Glean's design system, sharing design principles, engaging in critique, and fostering a culture of great design.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product design experience, with some experience designing AI or LLM-based products for consumer or prosumer audiences.
  • Genuine AI fluency and understanding of how LLM-based systems work, including UX challenges around trust, transparency, and personalization.
  • A consumer design mindset focused on intuitive flows, smooth onboarding, and retention-driving experiences.
  • Technical confidence to discuss model capabilities and constraints with engineers while advocating for users.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating interaction design, visual craft, and shipped products; experience with AI tools, content creation, or personalization is a plus.
  • Craft and collaboration skills: keen eye for detail, love of simplicity, and a team-first attitude in fast-moving environments.

Location & Office Policy
