About Glean
Glean is the Work AI platform that helps everyone work smarter with AI. What began as the industry’s most advanced enterprise search has evolved into a full-scale Work AI ecosystem, powering intelligent Search, an AI Assistant, and scalable AI agents on one secure, open platform. With over 100 enterprise SaaS connectors, flexible LLM choice, and robust APIs, Glean gives organizations the infrastructure to govern, scale, and customize AI across their entire business - without vendor lock-in or costly implementation cycles.
At its core, Glean is redefining how enterprises find, use, and act on knowledge. Its Enterprise Graph and Personal Knowledge Graph map the relationships between people, content, and activity, delivering deeply personalized, context-aware responses for every employee. This foundation powers Glean’s agentic capabilities - AI agents that automate real work across teams by accessing the industry’s broadest range of data: enterprise and world, structured and unstructured, historical and real-time. The result: measurable business impact through faster onboarding, hours of productivity gained each week, and smarter, safer decisions at every level.
Recognized by Fast Company as one of the World’s Most Innovative Companies (Top 10, 2025), by CNBC’s Disruptor 50, Bloomberg’s AI Startups to Watch (2026), Forbes AI 50, and Gartner’s Tech Innovators in Agentic AI, Glean continues to accelerate its global impact. With customers across 50+ industries and 1,000+ employees in more than 25 countries, Glean helps the world’s largest organizations make every employee AI-fluent.
If you’re excited to shape how the world works, you’ll help build systems used daily across Microsoft Teams, Zoom, ServiceNow, Zendesk, GitHub, and many more — deeply embedded where people get things done. You’ll ship agentic capabilities on an open, extensible stack, with the craft and care required for enterprise trust, as we bring Work AI to every employee, in every company.
About the Role
Glean is seeking a highly strategic and execution-oriented Product Manager for the Core Experience product area — the full-stack, high-polish, consumer-grade experiences that define how every user interacts with Glean.
This role sits at the intersection of AI, consumer-quality product craft, growth, and platform strategy. You will own the surfaces where users start and do their work every day — Homepage, Mobile, Desktop, Browser Extension, and SDK, plus the app shell, navigation, notifications, and settings — and shape a single, consistent product journey across all of Glean's touchpoints. This role closely partners with the Search and Chat teams and is a primary voice in shaping how those surfaces show up across the end-to-end user experience.
Glean's company strategy centers on making Glean the central, contextual AI entry point for work: a single, chat-first experience that users reach for the moment they sit down to work. The Core Experience area is how we deliver on that promise: by obsessing over engagement, session depth, virality, collaboration, onboarding, and rapid experimentation to turn first-time users into daily, mission-critical habits.
You will work closely with the Product lead and cross-functional partners across engineering, design, data, growth, go-to-market, and customer-facing teams to identify the right product bets, raise the bar on craft and polish, and translate a broad vision into concrete, shippable experiences. The team is lean, so you'll have an outsized role in shaping both the product roadmap and the product team itself.
This role is ideal for someone with 8+ years of experience, a deep industry overview and passion for AI, and the ability to demonstrate granular product implementation skills such as designing specific user interfaces and workflows rather than staying at a high conceptual level.
Responsibilities
- Help define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for Core Experience, translating broad company vision into specific product bets, experiences, and execution plans informed by customer needs, usage data, and market signals.
- Own the end-to-end quality of Glean's core surfaces — Homepage, Mobile, Desktop, Extension, and SDK, plus the app shell, navigation, and settings — driving a single, consistent, consumer-grade product journey across every touchpoint.
- Partner exceptionally closely with the Search and Chat teams, to influence their roadmaps and ensure they integrate seamlessly into a cohesive end-to-end user journey.
- Spend significant time with users, customers, and internal stakeholders to understand how people start and complete work in Glean, and where friction, drop-off, or fragmentation is costing engagement and retention.
- Drive growth, engagement, virality, collaboration, and session depth as first-class outcomes, partnering with growth and data teams on activation, onboarding, and retention across entry points.
- Champion rapid experimentation, using A/B tests, instrumentation, and qualitative research to learn fast, raise core metrics, and make confident, data-driven product decisions.
- Partner deeply with engineering, design, and data teams to turn ambiguous concepts into well-scoped products, with clear user flows, interaction patterns, quality standards, and measurable outcomes.
- Drive customer-focused prioritization and efficient execution, balancing long-term platform opportunities with urgent user pain points, strategic customer asks, and company priorities.
- Collaborate closely with go-to-market, solutions, support, and forward-deployed teams to learn from real customer problems and ensure product strategy reflects enterprise realities.
- Bring a high bar for product craft by specifying concrete workflows, UI behavior, performance, and adoption paths.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in product management, with a track record of owning and shipping meaningful product areas in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, AI products, consumer products, or high-engagement workflow platforms.
- Strong product sense for translating complex, ambiguous problems into clear, polished product experiences and comfort moving between strategy and detailed execution.
- Deep interest in AI and software, and excitement to shape consumer-grade experiences that combine search, chat, context, and proactive intelligence.
- Track record of driving growth, engagement, and retention through experimentation, instrumentation, and data-driven iteration.
- Outstanding cross-functional partnering and influencing skills to drive outcomes across surfaces you don't directly own.
- Strong technical fluency and comfort partnering with engineering and data teams on systems involving retrieval, ranking, client infrastructure, and intelligence layers across web, desktop, mobile, and SDK surfaces.
- Ability to demonstrate granular product thinking, including interaction models and sequencing product capabilities for adoption.
- Comfortable operating in highly ambiguous spaces and creating clarity, momentum, and alignment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a learning and growth mindset.
- Proven track record of taking ownership, initiative, and delivering results.
- Mission-first mindset and early adoption experience building with or adopting AI for product craft.
