Airbnb overview and team context
Airbnb connects guests and hosts around the world. The Product Management team imagines ideal experiences for our community and works backwards, creating innovative products that delight guests and hosts. Product Managers partner with engineering, design, operations, data science, and other cross-functional teams to deliver product vision and execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead the vision and execution of a global, campaign-based merchandising platform that powers discovery and promotion of Airbnb offerings (Homes, Services, Experiences, Hotels, new verticals) across app and engagement channels.
- Drive orchestration of targeted, measurable campaigns and define and measure campaign performance, revenue lift, and guest engagement.
- Build and scale a flexible, configurable platform for rapid testing and deployment of merchandising formats, offers, and incentives.
- Incorporate AI technologies to automate targeting, creative asset generation, and campaign management.
- Partner with creative and operations teams to manage campaign calendars, assets, and global coordination.
- Efficiently execute to ship products and deliver impact, and partner with cross-functional and executive stakeholders to align on strategy and rollout.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience, ideally building platforms and campaign-based marketing technology or ads/promotions systems.
- Familiarity with AI automation in campaign management and leveraging AI to optimize campaign development and efficiency.
- Track record of driving incremental revenue and scaling global programs.
- Experience taking ideas to reality and delivering measurable business impact.
- Demonstrated ability to build cross-functional and executive leadership alignment.
- Desire to do individual contributor product management work and be hands-on.
- Experience working with data science, analytics, and measuring campaign/feature performance.
Location
The successful applicant will need to be based in San Francisco, CA. Currently, employees cannot be located in: Alaska, Indiana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Delaware, and Rhode Island. Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay range: $194,000—$239,000 USD
- This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits. The actual base pay depends on factors such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands.
