Details

Bloomberg’s central registry for proprietary client content (also known as ‘Studio’) brings together materials created on Bloomberg or imported externally, and organizes them into structured, linked objects that can be securely accessed and used by Bloomberg AI systems. It is designed as a common layer across the Terminal, supporting individual users, teams, and enterprise workflows.

Studio enables three core capabilities:

  • Making it easy to capture and register client (aka custom) content
  • Making it easy to find, manage and reuse that content
  • Making it easy for ASKB to access and integrate that content into answers and workflows

Over time, Studio will evolve from a content layer into a workflow workbench, enabling use cases such as template-driven workflows, scheduled tasks, and AI-assisted processes. This allows Bloomberg to move beyond document retrieval toward supporting how clients generate ideas, track theses, and monitor changes over time.

By linking proprietary content and workflow context with Bloomberg’s data, news, and research, Bloomberg AI can operate with a deeper understanding of how users and firms interpret information and make decisions.

What is the Role?

You will drive the evolution of the central layer for organizing and activating proprietary client content within AI experiences. Define how client-created and captured objects—such as charts, notes, files, searches, and prompts—are structured, indexed, and surfaced to power intuitive and high-value interactions in ASKB and workflow tools. Partner with product teams across the Terminal to onboard new object types into Studio, prioritizing based on client impact and strategic value. Work with AI and engineering teams to define requirements for enrichment, indexing, and retrieval to ensure content is discoverable, relevant, and actionable within AI-driven experiences.

A key focus of the role is shaping how users search, manage, and reuse their proprietary content, including designing experiences for saving and organizing AI-generated outputs such as threads, answers, and artifacts. Collaborate with ASKB teams to build cohesive library and workflow experiences that enable users to move seamlessly from information retrieval to idea generation and execution.

This is a highly cross-functional role at the centre of Bloomberg’s AI strategy, shaping how clients interact with and derive value from their own data.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the roadmap for Studio as the central platform for proprietary content across AI experiences
  • Establish standards for how content is structured, indexed, enriched, and retrieved across object types
  • Partner with product teams to onboard and integrate high-impact content into Studio
  • Drive high-quality search, retrieval, and grounding of proprietary data within AI systems
  • Shape the in-terminal library and workflow experience within ASKB, including organization of content, projects, and AI-generated outputs
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure scalable and secure content integration
  • Identify and resolve inconsistencies across object types to deliver a unified and intuitive user experience
  • Engage with global clients to understand workflows and translate insights into impactful product solutions
  • Own end-to-end product execution, including OKRs, prioritization, backlog management, KPI tracking, and stakeholder communication

Requirements

Must have

  • Experience defining product vision and delivering complex, cross-functional roadmaps for platform, data, or AI-driven products
  • Strong understanding of search, indexing, retrieval systems, and data modelling concepts
  • Proven ability to influence and align stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance without direct authority
  • Experience building scalable platforms or systems used across multiple product teams
  • Ability to translate complex user workflows into structured, extensible product and data models
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to prioritization and decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership, clients, and technical teams
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguous environments and deliver results across competing priorities

Preferred

  • Experience with AI/LLM-powered products, search systems, or knowledge management platforms
  • Familiarity with enterprise content types (e.g., documents, notes, research artifacts) and how they are used in workflows
  • Exposure to financial services workflows, particularly in research or investment management and across multiple asset classes
