Bloomberg delivers critical information in a world where information matters. The Enterprise Technology team designs, delivers, and supports infrastructure that enables automated, high-performance workflows for financial institutions. As part of Enterprise Technology Services, this role focuses on owning and improving the reliability of Bloomberg’s client-facing production systems that support trading, regulatory, and data workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own and improve the reliability of client-facing systems in production environments.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in live environments.
- Identify incident patterns and implement measures to prevent future incidents.
- Improve system resilience and long-term performance.
- Partner closely with clients and internal teams (Engineering, Product) to influence system design and performance.
Requirements
- Recent degree in computer science, engineering, or related field OR 3+ years of experience in technical support, production engineering, or a similar role.
- Experience troubleshooting distributed systems or networked environments.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, connectivity, data flows).
- Experience with integration or messaging technologies (examples given: APIs, FIX, MQ, SFTP, or similar).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Working knowledge of SQL or databases.
We’d also value:
- Exposure to financial services, trading workflows, or regulatory environments.
- Experience working directly with clients or external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with data transformation or integration tools (examples given: Informatica, MuleSoft, TIBCO).

- Salary Range: 90,000 - 130,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus.
