Programs and Business Operations Lead

Airbnb’s Host Services team is developing new business lines designed to improve listing quality and unlock new value for Hosts. This role partners closely with the program lead to shape early strategy, build compelling business cases, and ensure seamless execution as initiatives grow.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic decks and supporting frameworks to communicate ideas clearly and drive stakeholder alignment
• Conduct market research, size opportunities, and contribute to financial models evaluating new business lines
• Support execution and tracking of approved initiatives collaborating with Product, Legal, Marketing, and other teams
• Build and maintain decks that communicate strategy clearly and effectively
• Structure ideas and research into frameworks to guide internal discussions and decisions
• Create structured narratives and presentation materials for team and stakeholder alignment
• Conduct research to benchmark competitors and evaluate whitespace opportunities
• Contribute to business case development through research, modeling, and synthesis of insights
• Partner with FP&A and others to estimate potential revenue impact and refine assumptions
• Translate strategic plans into operational trackers and templates to support execution
• Track progress across teams and flag issues
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders for successful initiative execution
• Develop reporting frameworks to measure business performance
• Collaborate with Data Science and Scaled Operations to extract and synthesize insights
• Identify opportunities for improvement and propose actions for optimization

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in strategy, business operations, consulting, or high-growth operational environment
• Proficient in SQL or Superset; comfortable navigating large datasets and extracting actionable insights
• Strong modeling and analytical skills; able to work with ambiguous/incomplete data
• Fast-paced, autonomous, able to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams
• Clear, structured communicator with excellent written skills
• Strong project management skills; comfortable working cross-functionally across technical and business teams

Benefits

• Base pay range from $164,000 to $204,000 USD, depending on various factors
• Potential eligibility for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits
