Details

The Infrastructure department is responsible for influencing and tracking change, providing frontline support, and delivering software-defined solutions.

You will be a member of the Low Level Team for the NordVPN product. We are building common cross-platform components. Our code is shipped to Windows, Apple, Android, and Linux platforms. Your main task will be improving automation of the release processes with the main focus on quality assurance. We believe that the perfect candidate is one of System Administrator, Network Administrator, Software Engineer, or QA engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and automate E2E tests;
  • Lead end-to-end testing strategies to ensure comprehensive coverage;
  • Improve and extend the existing test framework;
  • Perform functional and non-functional testing to validate application functionalities;
  • Develop and implement a quality improvement strategy, taking ownership of quality assurance efforts;
  • Implement solution recipes and frameworks for test automation, infrastructure monitoring, and release engineering;
  • Automate CI/CD pipelines; Advocate and help adopt and improve CI/CD practices;
  • Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and processes;
  • Maintain and evolve policies and standards;
  • Contribute to the technical tasks, feedback forms, technical interviews;
  • Maintain and scale dynamic testing, integration, and test environments.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of QA experience;
  • QA automation experience;
  • Proficiency with scripting languages like Python/bash/PowerShell;
  • GitHub/GitLab experience;
  • Containers/VMs experience;
  • Package management and build system knowledge;
  • Good understanding of Linux operating systems;
  • Proficient with computer networks;
  • Familiar with testing theory;
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on improvement;
  • Deep analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
