Are you an enthusiastic quality assurance engineer? Do you possess a keen eye for detail and a talent for automating tests? If these qualities describe you, then we have the perfect job waiting for you! Submit your application today and kickstart your journey with Tikkie!
Your Job
As a QA Engineer, your key role will be to maintain the gold standard of our Tikkie app. Your tasks will include crafting and implementing testing plans, debugging, and initiating corrective actions. You'll keep a keen eye on all software development stages. Providing constructive feedback to your team for continuous improvement will also be part of your day. We value an eagerness to participate coupled with strong communication skills. You enjoy teamwork, appreciate constructive code feedback, and are adept at providing feedback to others. This position will suit you if you are willing to challenge the status quo, unafraid of making mistakes, and are consistently curious about new things.
During two-week sprint cycles, you'll join daily Scrum meetings, planning, retrospectives, and demos. You'll execute the test strategy and assess software quality through thoughtful design and implementation processes. Keeping the quality of code top-notch through exploratory and automated tests, identifying and reporting issues, and ensuring they're addressed promptly also falls under your umbrella. If you're a pro who leans towards prevention rather than detection and isn't afraid to swim upstream when needed, we'd love to chat with you.
