NVIDIA is searching for an outstanding research scientist to join the Digital Human AI Research (DAIR) group to work on creating lifelike digital humans. Our goal is to improve and democratize the entire digital human creation process, including capture, modeling, synthesis, and animation, with an emphasis on both appearance and dynamic characteristics.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implement novel AI algorithms for digital humans.
- Publish original and impactful research.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and teams.
- Work with product groups to transfer technology.
- Collaborate with external researchers.
- Mentor interns.
Requirements
- Must hold a Ph. D. in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc. (or equivalent experience).
- Outstanding engineering skills in rapid prototyping and model training frameworks (PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc.). Python is required; C++ and CUDA proficiencies are a plus.
- Excellent skills in working with large-scale machine learning/AI systems and computing infrastructure.
- Strong expertise in computer vision, machine learning, and computer graphics.
- Background in 3D human reconstruction, human motion modeling, human-object interaction, generative modeling of humans, physics/neural simulators, and cloth modeling is desirable.
- Outstanding research track record.
- Excellent communication skills.
