We are looking for a worldwide Scientific Program Manager to join our team in support of our Supercomputing Programs. Do you think you have what it takes? In this role you will work closely across many organizations, from national government institutions, researchers, colleges, and universities and help facilitate Scientific excellence using NVIDIA technology. You will handle the relationships and develop mutually beneficial pivotal initiatives that grow the NVIDIA business ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Lead existing and build new relationships with key people in the WW Scientific community. Share all the NVIDIA advancements and how we can work together using these advancements to tackle scientific challenges. Communicate how our work facilitates solutions to scientific challenges and has significant societal impact.
- Will help translate customer requirements into specific tasks for all functional areas and actively collect, supervise, and drive all issues to closure.
- Design strategies that are resilient to changes in market and policy forces and that can evolve with technological advancements.
- Communicate scientific requirements to the internal product planning teams enabling efficient outcomes for NVIDIA and NVIDIA's customers.
- Capture input from agencies and researchers around mission, strategy, requirements, and actions for HPC/AI, Data Analytics and Edge computing and synthesize these into a coherent response strategy for NVIDIA.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in the Science or Engineering field (or equivalent experience).
- 15+ years of meaningful work experience, with 5+ years experience successfully leading projects within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Skilled in innovative approach proposal and design, algorithms, and scientific article solutions.
- Proven track record of driving cross-functional team members to achieve mutually acceptable solutions.
- Experience working as part of worldwide organizations.
- Ability to influence and work with a best-in-class team of software engineers.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- High attention to detail with an ability to lead multiple priorities with minimal direction, with a history of implementing successful long term technology partnerships with researchers.
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, presentation, reporting, and self-management skills.
- Experience maintaining and communicating complex feature roadmaps.
- Software developer experience an add-on benefit, but not a requirement.
