View all our benefits.As a Scrum Master at Rabobank, you will be at the heart of our data-driven initiatives. This role is integral to the success of the Tribe Global Data & Analytics Platform, which encompasses the Global Data Platform, Analytics Platform, Data Governance Platform, and Onboarding & Support. You will guide several of the 40 squads, ensuring they have the tools and guidance necessary to design, build, and run innovative solutions that are valuable to our 7 million customers.

Within the Tribe Global Data & Analytics Platform, you will work in the center of the data-driven enterprise. The tribe contains four key areas:

  • Onboarding & Support
  • Governance Platform
  • Data Platform
  • Analytics Platform

For about 40 squads divided over these areas, all squads have a Scrum Master as required in our way of working. We need your help to ensure the teams can design, build, and run groundbreaking solutions that are as valuable to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitation of Scrum Events:

  • Lead all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Ensure that meetings are productive and stay focused on objectives.

Team Support and Development:

  • Foster a collaborative team environment that promotes mutual support and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and articulate a vision/roadmap for achieving Agile maturity within the team and execute the roadmap effectively, tracking progress and adjusting if necessary.
  • Guide and mentor team members on Agile best practices and personal development.
  • Bridge cultural differences to create cohesive teams that thrive in a dynamic environment.

Impediment Removal and Continuous Improvement:

  • Promote a data-driven approach to Scrum, ensuring that decisions are backed by metrics and analytics.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Identify and help remove impediments that block the team’s progress.

  • Helping teams to take the next steps in their Agile growth.
  • Intrinsically motivating your teams to embrace the Scrum framework by planting the right seeds for continuous improvement.
  • Creating an improvement culture where teams develop in quality, effectiveness, and job satisfaction.
  • Being an expert in facilitating workshops and training courses, inspiring teams to think differently and achieve more.
  • Act as a mentor and support less experienced Scrum Masters, helping them grow and succeed

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile development environment, preferably with cloud platform teams and/or guiding multiple teams.
  • Proven experience with Scaled Agile frameworks like SAFe, LeSS, or the Spotify model.
  • Hands-on experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams on Agile principles, preferably in a hybrid setting.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM-II), SAFe, and/or LeSS certification.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Scaled Agile practices.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools like Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathetic and people-oriented personality with a proactive approach to team development.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement and team development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the financial industry or a similarly regulated environment.
  • Prior experience in roles such as developer or business analyst.
  • Knowledge and experience with implementing Scaled Agile frameworks in practice.
