Are you passionate about coding, architecture, and creating models for hardware? This opportunity is outstanding as you will work at the forefront of technology. You will help build and improve the modelling infrastructure for GPU and SoC models. Your work will be essential in transforming software development on NVIDIA hardware for the company and our customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop the tools, libraries, and environments to model and simulate next-generation chip architectures.
- Support the architecture and engineering teams by enabling them to build their models on top of this advanced environment.
- Implement solutions to complex modelling problems using expertise in SystemC, C++, and architecture.
- Guide and influence teams that model GPU features, ensuring they use the environment's features to build efficient hardware models.
- Document, develop, and build tools to analyze, simulate, validate, and verify models with precision.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in the field.
- A Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, along with 10+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and C.
- Solid understanding of build systems (CMake, make), toolchains (GCC, MSVC), and libraries (STL, Boost).
- Proven background in Computer Architecture with experience in modeling using SystemC and Transaction Level Modeling (TLM).
- Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, Python, and Perl.
- Ability to communicate clearly and constructively within a distributed team environment.
Ways to stand out from the crowd
- Prior experience developing simulation models for major chip projects within the chip or EDA industry.
- Familiarity with simulation and modelling tools from major EDA vendors.
- Experience collaborating with teams across different time zones.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range for Level 4: 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD per year.
- Base salary range for Level 5: 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD per year.
