Information about the position
As Bill Gates said in 1996: Content is king! We are establishing a new product team with the mission to improve the quality of our problem resolution by creating a “single version of truth” for content across all of our support channels: self service interfaces, agent responses, internal knowledge base, training and more.
This is a key role with high visibility across our product organisation and has a high impact. We're therefore looking for a Backend Engineer to become a part of the rapidly growing Help Experience product domain. We work in autonomous, cross functional teams consisting of engineering, product management, data science, and product design.
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join a newly established team to build the content backbone which provides Vinted members with self-help, enables automated machine-help as well as serves content for customers agents. We aim to improve the quality of our problem resolution by creating a “single version of truth” for content across all support channels. This team has the potential to contribute to saving millions of euros and transform stranded users into engaged advocates of our sustainable marketplace, which directly supports our mission to make second-hand first choice worldwide.
As our new Backend Engineer in this team, you will play an integral role in rewriting the content serving and delivery layer for our Help Centre. We will rethink our support content architecture and migrate from our internal tool to using Strapi for content management. We want to enable self-service a/b testing capabilities to iterate fast on providing users with the best content that solves their problems. You’ll have the opportunity to expand your skills in several directions, gaining hands-on experience with e.g. search technologies, and leveraging them to impact millions of users.
By joining Vinted you’ll become part of an active community of engineers who are keen on sharing knowledge, organising learning workshops and so much more!
In this position, you’ll
- Work in a cross-functional team and design, shape, build and architect how we deliver and serve content through several channels that improve our members’ lives.
- Collaborate with developers during pairing sessions and code reviews.
- See your code affect 100+ million users.
