You help realise the delivery of the ABN AMRO Strategy: a Personal Bank in a Digital Age. You ensure that the entire bank follows the correct route towards a fully data-driven organisation. From shaping new concepts to designing and guiding data management initiatives. You are able to quickly submerge yourself in a brand-new initiative, shape, socialise and ensure it is properly anchored for successful execution.

Your job

You are a seasoned Program Manager with a proven track record in the financial service industry and regulatory compliance programs in complex environments. This role is pivotal in driving organisational transformation to meet the regulatory principles for BCBS239 which forms the foundation of the ABN AMRO Data Management journey.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Oversee and manage the BCBS239 compliance program – ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and timelines;
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams across ABN AMRO N.V. (including its subsidiaries and entities);
  • Act as primary liaison between internal and external stakeholders – ensuring clear communication, reporting on program progress, risks and issues, and manage audit and regulatory reviews;
  • Establish an effective culture focused on results with an unambiguous way of working for BCBS239 within the Program team, Central Data Office and stakeholders (e.g. Data Domains and Report/Model/Use Case Owners);
  • Develop and prepare executive decision-making for the Executive Board and Supervisory Board;
  • Lead change management initiatives to facilitate the successful adoption of BCBS239 practices and processes;
  • Explore and implement best practices to enhance compliance efforts.

Your profile demonstrates clear experience in the field of Data & Analytics, with a solid track record of program management of regulatory trajectories – specific to BCBS239. You are a natural leader that is result-oriented, data-driven, self-steering, and has the ability to translate regulatory requirements into action. You are committed to developing and mentoring your team to achieve high performance.

Working environment

You operate in the following organisation:

  • You are part of the Central Data Office;
  • You interact with other departments in the Central Data Office to ensure BCBS239 approach is set and requirements are fulfilled;
  • You interact with Data Domains to implement the BCBS239 approach;
  • You interact with Report/Model/Use Case Owners to implement the BCBS239 approach;
  • You interact with the Program Board members to ensure they are informed and effective decision making takes place;
  • You interact with the Joint Supervisory Board to ensure progress is made transparent and requirements are managed.

We are offering

  • The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • Personal development budget of €1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to €3,000.
