Details

At NVIDIA, we operate at the core of enterprise security, architecting and protecting identity systems that support some of the most advanced computing platforms in the world. This role offers the opportunity to influence strategy, lead AI-driven modernization, engage with executives, and leave a lasting security impact — working alongside outstanding engineers and security leaders. NVIDIA's Enterprise Security organization is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer - Identity Governance to shape and strengthen our security ecosystem by creating Identity Governance solutions that reinforce our enterprise security posture. In this role, you'll collaborate with experienced team members and key business partners to build scalable, forward-thinking identity solutions that support all aspects of NVIDIA's business and AI systems globally.

This is a high-impact role at the intersection of security architecture, platform engineering, and AI infrastructure. Hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityNow is essential — this role will help guide the identity framework protecting developers, services, and AI agents across NVIDIA's global infrastructure, spanning cloud, on-premises, and managed device environments. A key focus is developing toolsets that harness agentic AI to expand and deepen the reach of our identity governance solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Embrace NVIDIA's AI-first mentality and create deliverables using modern AI toolsets (e.g., Claude, Codex, Cursor).
  • Build and lead implementation of Identity Governance solutions to strengthen enterprise security posture.
  • Independently develop technical implementation builds, incorporate feedback from senior engineers and collaborators, and deliver solutions with emphasis on agentic AI processes.
  • Mentor and develop team members while driving enterprise Zero Trust strategy through collaboration.
  • Build and advance the Identity Governance roadmap, balancing central initiatives with reliable day-to-day operations.
  • Partner with product teams to define secure business requirements and ensure clarity for effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with project development teams to enable successful delivery by applying appropriate security tools, technologies, and techniques.
  • Champion SDLC guidelines and continuously find opportunities to streamline and improve team processes.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityNow or SailPoint Identity IQ.
  • 8+ years of experience working with IAM technologies in enterprise environments.
  • 8+ years of software development experience, with a strong foundation in scripting.
  • Deep expertise in Identity Management concepts including User Lifecycle Management, Access Certifications, Access Requests, Workflow, and Delegated Administration.
  • Solid experience with SOX controls, enterprise governance and compliance, and SSO authentication and authorization across Microsoft Azure, CyberArk, and HashiCorp Vault.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.

Ways to stand out from the crowd

  • Experience leveraging agentic AI tools and skills (prompt engineering, AI agent workflow design, MCP integration) to automate identity governance workflows and extend security operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build AI-powered tooling that enhances IGA capabilities (for example, using LLMs to generate access certification summaries, flag anomalous entitlements, or draft lifecycle workflow logic).
  • Familiarity with securing AI agent identities and non-human service accounts within Zero Trust frameworks, including scoping least-privilege access for AI workloads in cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline integration for identity solutions, including automated testing and deployment of SailPoint configurations and custom connectors.
  • Exposure to PAM and secrets management platforms (CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault) in hybrid cloud architectures, with experience enforcing just-in-time access and vaulting credentials for both human and machine identities.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary ranges (location, experience, and level dependent):
    • Level 4: 168,000 USD - 270,250 USD
    • Level 5: 196,000 USD - 310,500 USD
