Responsibilities

  • Realizing a distributed Data-Mesh architecture implemented on a new Azure based technology stack.
  • Integrating and realizing connections with traditional data suppliers and consumers, including potential legacy systems.
  • Migrating existing data solutions to new Azure solutions while ensuring reliable migration patterns.
  • Providing on-call support during working hours as a rotating duty within the team.

Requirements

  • Academic or HBO educational and work level.
  • A proactive leader, making an impact through ownership.
  • Entrepreneurial, analytical, and pragmatic mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey ideas clearly.
  • Awareness of the life-cycle development ensuring sustainable solutions.
  • Proficient in Dutch both orally and in writing.
  • Technical skills:
    • Experience with Git and building CI/CD pipelines, preferably in Azure DevOps/Azure Pipelines.
    • Proficiency in Python, ideally with Object Oriented Programming, Pytest, prototypes, and properties.
    • Experience with SQL or PySpark, preferably in Databricks.

Pré

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Docker.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Azure native components like Event Hub, Data Lake Storage, Azure Functions.
  • Azure certifications: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) and Azure Data Engineering (DP-203).
