Supporting all business initiatives with a need for data (structured and unstructured, high volume and/or streaming). Rabobank is implementing an Enterprise Data Lake platform in the cloud. Your role

You get excited by building and deploying big data pipelines in the cloud. In the Squad you work on Azure, where you use cloud native components and value the separation between storage and computing. Data frames are not a new concept to you and you write code in either PySpark or use Azure Data Flow for your ETL needs. Your deployments are automated and you are able to quickly prototype your solutions.

Your experience and competencies

You have a couple of years of experience in using the concepts/components in a production environment:

• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Databricks
• Python
• Data modelling and SQL
• Airflow
• Azure Synapse
• API Development on Azure (preferably with python)
• Scripting either PowerShell or bash
• Preliminary knowledge of Java/Scala
• Azure Data Lake Storage
• Azure Functions
• Build and deploy with Azure DevOps (CICD)
• Set up data quality and monitoring
• Develop unit tests (TDD)

The competences we would like you to have:

• Strong collaboration with other roles in the Scrum team

To be considered for this position, you must be located in the Netherlands or elsewhere in the EU and have the legal right to work in the Netherlands. We are unable to consider candidates requiring relocation from another country.

• a gross monthly salary is scaled in function group 8-9; Between € 3.711,55 and € 6.130,64
• a thirteenth month and holiday pay;
