Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of data scientists.
• Drive analytics and data science projects with Product, Engineering, and other partners to inform strategy.
• Analyze large datasets to drive advertiser adoption and improve ads user experience.
• Influence strategy and roadmap design.
• Set and prioritize longer term goals using insights.
• Implement A/B testing, experimentation, and advanced statistical/ML models.
• Develop and execute a data science roadmap.
• Stay current with industry best practices and technologies.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
• Contribute to the Data Science Organization's knowledge base.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Operations Research, or related quantitative field.
• 8+ years of industry data science experience for Master’s degree holders, or 6+ years for PhD holders.
• 4+ years of people management experience; managing managers is a plus.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R, and SQL.
• Experience or interest in building data foundations and self-serve analytics.
• Deep understanding of online experimentation and causal inference.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and strategic topics.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, innovative environments.
• Results-driven with customer and business focus.
• Experience driving product roadmap and cross-organization collaboration.
• Strong problem-structuring ability.
