The Business Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) department within Wealth Management (WM) is driven to work more data-driven in commerce. As a Senior Data Specialist, you play an essential role in this. You are responsible for developing the entire data chain to create data products that achieve commercial success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the data chain from the data domain store, working closely with data engineers and data modelers within the IT organization responsible for the development and management of the datastore and data warehouse model.
  • Translate business requirements into IT specifications, preparing data for consumption by the BI&A team.
  • Ensure that the prepared data is processed efficiently and reliably in our reports and analyses.
  • Collaborate with other BI&A sub-teams, providing your vision and translating it into improvement plans and a roadmap.
  • Support and coach colleagues, and build models in SQL/PySpark to make data available for PowerBI reporting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a data specialist in a dynamic environment.
  • Completed a WO/HBO education.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in ETL and strong consulting skills with a results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to develop the talents of others through knowledge transfer and coaching.
  • Flexible mindset to adapt quickly in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong customer orientation and a desire to understand and translate stakeholder needs into concrete BI solutions.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Python (PySpark), Azure, Databricks, and GIT.
