NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Deep Learning Performance Architect to develop advanced processor and system architectures that accelerate machine learning, data analytics, and high-performance computing applications. Responsibilities
- Design high performance, energy-efficient system and processor architectures to advance deep learning technology.
- Prototype deep learning and data analytics algorithms and applications.
- Analyze trade-offs in performance, cost, and power using analytical models, simulators, and test suites.
- Evaluate architecture performance and energy efficiency with consideration to deep learning workloads, through modeling and prototyping.
- Collaborate across teams including software, research, and product units to shape machine learning direction.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of relevant work or research experience.
- Strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning fundamentals alongside expertise in computer architecture.
- Expertise in high performance, power-efficient design and analysis, including performance profiling and bottleneck identification.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, and C++.
- Experience with GPU computing and parallel programming models.
- Practical experience with analytical performance modeling, profiling, and analysis.
