We are now looking for a Senior Hardware Design Engineer for our Tegra group! NVIDIA is seeking passionate Senior Hardware Design Engineers to architect, design and verify the world’s leading SoC's and GPU's. Responsibilities
- As a key member of the Architecture team, you will be responsible for the architecture, design and implementation of controllers/IPs for a System-on-Chip.
- Build architectural trade-offs based on features, performance requirements and system limitations.
- Comfortable working with RTL and debugging tools.
- Work with other architects, platform and software teams to define feature set for future designs.
- Draft hardware specifications and review with stakeholders, help with customer documentation (as required).
- Work on SystemC modeling and develop and verify architectural test plans (as applicable).
- Support post-silicon validation activities working with Silicon characterization and Software teams.
- Collaborate and coordinate with architects, other designers, pre- and post-silicon verification teams, synthesis, timing and back-end teams to accomplish your tasks.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- 8+ years of meaningful experience in SOC architecture and design experience. Verification experience is a plus.
- Experience in micro-architecture and RTL development (Verilog), focused on arbiters, scheduling, synchronization & bus protocols, interconnect networks and/or caches.
- Worked on architecture definitions on clocks, resets, interconnects, IO interfaces.
- Exposure to Digital systems and VLSI design, Computer Architecture, Computer Arithmetic, CMOS transistors and circuits is required.
- Comfortable in solving the architecture problems from micro-architecture to system level.
- Good understanding of ASIC design flow.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an excellent teammate.
