Details
We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer in our Development Services team. In this role you will design, implement, and roll out standardized CI/CD pipelines across multiple product teams and regions. You will play a key role in the platform transition from Jenkins to GitLab CI/CD and enable secure, scalable deployments on Red Hat OpenShift and AWS-based platforms. The role combines hands-on engineering, platform enablement, and DevSecOps governance in a regulated enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
- Setting up and maintaining the GitLab CI/CD platform including governance & policies
- Designing and implementing standardized GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Embedding security and compliance (DevSecOps) controls into standardized pipelines
- Driving migrations to GitLab from existing tooling (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket, AWS)
- Driving and supporting application migrations to Private Cloud (OpenShift)
- Driving automation across development and delivery processes
- Supporting existing tooling (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket) until decommissioning

The IT organisation includes over 300 developers across more than 30 product teams and 10 platform teams.
Development Services is an international/global team whose vision is to enable development teams to adopt standardized platforms, pipelines and developer experience across all teams. You will interact closely with product development teams across regions and collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, IT Engineers, Platform Engineers and Business Developers.
Requirements / Your profile
- 5+ years hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD
- 5+ years experience with Git and modern branching strategies (e.g., trunk-based development)
- 3+ years experience maintaining and/or migrating Jenkins pipelines
- 3+ years experience with Red Hat OpenShift (deployments, scaling, networking, security)
- 3+ years experience with Docker and containerization
- Strong engineering mindset, ownership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of the organisation and across regions and cultures
- Flexible, adaptive, and eager to continuously learn
