Airbnb's Community Support Platform (CSP) builds the technology, architecture, and solutions that power Airbnb's global community support operations. The Agent Routing and Case team focuses on improvements to how customer issues are routed to agents, how work is tracked and coordinated, and how the overall customer support experience is improved. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on this team you will shape technical vision and deliver scalable solutions that improve agent productivity and support Airbnb's core business.
Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering counterparts to execute on product and business strategy and build novel products and features.
- Drive, lead, and contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
- Review code and design docs; give feedback on product specs and mocks.
- Provide input on team roadmap and technical direction.
- Deliver end-to-end product work, including ideation, scoping, implementation, and A/B testing.
Requirements
- 6+ years of full stack software development experience.
- Proficient in at least one major programming language (examples listed: Java, Kotlin, Scala, Ruby on Rails, Python).
- Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as React, Preact, Angular, Next, Vue, or Meteor.
- Exposure to architectural patterns for large, high-scale web applications (well-designed APIs, high-volume data pipelines, efficient algorithms).
- Passionate about designing and building UX products; able to collaborate with design and product partners and present tradeoffs.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; detail oriented.
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Location & Office Policy
- This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed with your manager.
- Candidates must live in a U.S. state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity (some states are excluded; check Airbnb's up-to-date list or consult your recruiter).
Benefits & Compensation
- Base pay range: $180,000 — $220,000 USD.
- This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
- The actual base pay depends on factors such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.
