Details

Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way.

The Community You Will Join

Our goal is to accelerate EMEA growth by enabling country teams to execute local growth plans — with a primary focus on driving demand. We work closely with marketing, growth marketing, product, communications, data science, and policy at both central and local level to develop scalable, holistic programs across markets.

Role Summary

As a Senior Growth & Operations Manager, EMEA, you will work with both Country and EMEA leadership to develop and execute growth initiatives to accelerate Airbnb’s business in the region. You will define strategies and execute them end-to-end, managing complex cross-functional workstreams and presenting results to leadership.

This role is based in either London, Berlin, or Barcelona (hybrid, 2 days a week in the office), and is not eligible for relocation support.

Responsibilities

  • Own the conception, execution, and measurement of cross-functional business initiatives end-to-end: define problem statements, propose solutions, identify dependencies, coordinate stakeholders, and run post-mortems.
  • Source and operate innovative levers to support business growth (sizing, coordinating and operating pilots across traffic, CRM, growth marketing, new supply segments, distribution partnerships).
  • Drive regular business operations meetings and working routines with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product, community, legal) to ensure initiatives are on track and escalate when needed.
  • Present analysis, insights and actionable plans to regional leadership to inform business decisions, merging available internal and external data sources.

Requirements / Your Expertise

  • 6+ years of work experience, preferably with background in business consulting or Strategy and Operations in a scale-up. Tech background is a plus.
  • Business background with understanding of operations and/or sales, growth marketing and commercial partnerships.
  • Strong project management experience working cross-functionally across multiple departments; mastery of project management frameworks and methodologies.
  • Analytical mindset; able to conduct end-to-end business analysis leveraging Excel and AI tools. SQL or Python knowledge is a plus.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and outcome-focused; able to prioritize and get things done in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Fluent in English required; another European language is a strong plus.
  • Location requirement: London, Berlin or Barcelona, willing to come frequently to the office.

Benefits

  • The role may be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
  • Base pay range (Germany annual): €92,000—€115,000 EUR. The actual base pay depends on factors such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.

Offices

Barcelona, Spain; Berlin, Germany; London, United Kingdom.

Other Notes

  • This role is explicitly not eligible for relocation support.
