As part of this role you will be working on a powerful private cloud system that supports various teams across NVIDIA — scaling cloud services to run on thousands of servers and handling millions of automated jobs every day. You will collaborate with teams such as Graphics Processors, Mobile Processors, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Autonomous Vehicles, and Omniverse.
This is a full-time role based in Santa Clara, CA (US). Applications for this job will be accepted at least until June 19, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Craft creative, scalable cloud solutions for running millions of jobs, thousands of systems, and petabytes of storage.
- Address challenges in infrastructure such as Kubernetes, job scheduling, multi-region services, resource management, and automated recovery.
- Create agentic workflows for infrastructure.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to understand needs and develop innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience developing scalable cloud infrastructure solutions from concept to production.
- Background in AI/ML and Data Analytics and their application in infrastructure.
- Strong background in object-oriented programming, with a preference for Java or Go.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure development.
Ways to stand out from the crowd
- Strong hands-on experience with Bazel Remote Execution (Buildbarn, Buildfarm, or similar).
- Expertise in crafting and scaling microservices and deploying them on Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience building robust distributed systems for heterogeneous platforms.
- Experience working in infrastructure or on hardware systems.
- Solid programming skills in Golang (preferred) and/or Java.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary ranges (dependent on level, location, and experience):
- Level 4: 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD
- Level 5: 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD
- Eligible for equity and company benefits.
