NVIDIA is looking for an experienced Drivers Engineer to join the OFED Linux Drivers team to develop cutting-edge kernel and userspace features for advanced networking devices and technologies. The role involves designing and implementing drivers and libraries, collaborating with global teams, and contributing high-quality code in Linux and open-source environments.
Responsibilities
- Craft and implement kernel drivers for state-of-the-art network devices and develop userspace libraries.
- Collaborate and debug with teams across the globe to provide the best solutions for customers.
- Develop high-quality code for the Linux kernel and other open-source environments.
- Work in a Continuous Deployment environment with fast development/deployment cycles.
- Contribute as part of an experienced team with a collaborative atmosphere.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of programming experience.
- Strong experience with C and extensive knowledge of the language.
- Experience in Linux environments and Linux development tools.
- Strong design, coding, and debugging skills.
- High ability to focus on task execution and meet objectives.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ways to stand out
- Experience in kernel programming.
- Open-source software contributions.
- Deep knowledge of networking protocols such as InfiniBand and Ethernet.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: 140,000 USD - 224,250 USD (base salary determined based on location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions).
- Eligible for equity and NVIDIA benefits (see company benefits link).
