Details

NVIDIA is seeking a highly skilled manager of business operations and procurement to join the data center business operations team. This role will drive innovation and efficiency in procurement processes supporting data center build-out (hardware, services), champion cross-functional partnerships, and lead a team of procurement professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of procurement professionals supporting data center build out (hardware, services).
  • Drive automation across the procurement lifecycle; build on existing automations and identify new opportunities to improve efficiency within internal operations and supplier interactions.
  • Improve and develop reporting mechanisms for procurement activities (order status by project, equipment lead times, contract statuses such as SOW, PSA, MSA, and data center capacity lease activities).
  • Apply analytical skills to identify trends and patterns, build models, and present findings and recommendations; expose business exceptions and unfavorable outcomes through data analysis and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Champion strong business partnerships across a highly matrixed environment, collaborating with Finance, Procurement, Engineering, Vendors, Legal, Business Analysts, Business Owners, and Service Owners.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
  • 6+ years of experience leading a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience identifying, improving, and implementing processes across large matrix organizations and a passion for growing and developing a team.
  • Successful track record working multi-functionally with global partners and experience with scaled infrastructure systems.
  • Expertise in planning, forecasting methods, and governance within enterprise financial processes, procurement processes, and inventory management.
  • Strategic problem solver able to act tactically, build consensus, and solve problems; able to focus on details while maintaining a broad perspective.
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.

Compensation and Other Details

  • Base salary range: 216,000 USD - 345,000 USD (determined based on location, experience, and peer pay).
