Details
Airbnb's Business organization recruits and develops Airbnb’s global supply of high-quality Homes, Hotels, Services and Experiences. The Senior Manager, Supply Tech will lead a geographically distributed team and drive strategic initiatives across business verticals to reimagine the GTM technology ecosystem, improve productivity for sales/account management and operations teams, and deliver intelligent technology and process solutions that support hosts.
Responsibilities
- Build and develop a distributed team across multiple verticals; hire, manage performance, and transition contingent workers while driving talent transformation from an enablement-focused to a product-owner mindset
- Define team success metrics, measure program outcomes, and build strong stakeholder relationships to enable the team to drive strategy
- Create growth pathways for team members at various career stages
- Design and execute a unified roadmap strategy across acquisition and account management systems for all supply verticals, with deep hands-on focus on Homes account management
- Lead cross-functional delivery by coordinating initiatives across Supply, Operations, Product Marketing, Engineering, and Analytics
- Influence technical architecture by partnering with Business Technology, Platform, and Engineering teams; evaluate build vs. buy decisions and pressure-test business requirements
- Solve complex business problems focusing on capability density and keeping teams focused on hosts rather than ineffective tools
- Partner with Advanced Analytics and other technical teams to identify collaboration opportunities across shared customer bases
Requirements
- 12+ years in business systems, GTM product ownership, or technical program management, with 3+ years managing distributed teams
- Deep expertise in go-to-market systems, particularly acquisition and account management workflows; strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, limitations, and alternatives
- Proven experience building and transforming teams (hiring, developing talent, performance management) while balancing IC work and management responsibilities
- Strategic problem-solving with platform-agnostic thinking and strong build-vs-buy framework expertise
- Strong technical aptitude: able to engage in architecture discussions and engineering decisions, and serve as a technical consultant for non-technical audiences
- Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation skills, and executive communication for VP/Director-level partners
- Comfortable with ambiguity, complex stakeholder management, and cross-functional partnership
Preferred
- SQL proficiency for analysis and requirements definition
- Experience managing contingent workforce alongside FTE teams
- Background in marketplaces, multi-sided platforms, or B2B2C business models
- Familiarity with GTM productivity tools and change management for internal systems adoption
Your Location
- This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites. You must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity (some states are excluded).
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay range: $204,000—$249,000 USD
- This role may be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits
