Details

Airbnb's Business organization recruits and develops Airbnb’s global supply of high-quality Homes, Hotels, Services and Experiences. The Senior Manager, Supply Tech will lead a geographically distributed team and drive strategic initiatives across business verticals to reimagine the GTM technology ecosystem, improve productivity for sales/account management and operations teams, and deliver intelligent technology and process solutions that support hosts.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop a distributed team across multiple verticals; hire, manage performance, and transition contingent workers while driving talent transformation from an enablement-focused to a product-owner mindset
  • Define team success metrics, measure program outcomes, and build strong stakeholder relationships to enable the team to drive strategy
  • Create growth pathways for team members at various career stages
  • Design and execute a unified roadmap strategy across acquisition and account management systems for all supply verticals, with deep hands-on focus on Homes account management
  • Lead cross-functional delivery by coordinating initiatives across Supply, Operations, Product Marketing, Engineering, and Analytics
  • Influence technical architecture by partnering with Business Technology, Platform, and Engineering teams; evaluate build vs. buy decisions and pressure-test business requirements
  • Solve complex business problems focusing on capability density and keeping teams focused on hosts rather than ineffective tools
  • Partner with Advanced Analytics and other technical teams to identify collaboration opportunities across shared customer bases

Requirements

  • 12+ years in business systems, GTM product ownership, or technical program management, with 3+ years managing distributed teams
  • Deep expertise in go-to-market systems, particularly acquisition and account management workflows; strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, limitations, and alternatives
  • Proven experience building and transforming teams (hiring, developing talent, performance management) while balancing IC work and management responsibilities
  • Strategic problem-solving with platform-agnostic thinking and strong build-vs-buy framework expertise
  • Strong technical aptitude: able to engage in architecture discussions and engineering decisions, and serve as a technical consultant for non-technical audiences
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation skills, and executive communication for VP/Director-level partners
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, complex stakeholder management, and cross-functional partnership

Preferred

  • SQL proficiency for analysis and requirements definition
  • Experience managing contingent workforce alongside FTE teams
  • Background in marketplaces, multi-sided platforms, or B2B2C business models
  • Familiarity with GTM productivity tools and change management for internal systems adoption
