Details
We are looking for a Network/Storage Test Engineer to join our End-to-End Cloud solution team. You will be part of the E2E Verification team with the main goal of testing and helping define sophisticated Ethernet/InfiniBand NIC and switch features and topologies to enable NVIDIA products for market demands. The role requires fast learning of new features, technologies, and protocols, and engagement in testing and defining networking industry-leading systems.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to design review and product feature requirements across the Ethernet/InfiniBand NIC and switch portfolio.
- Design and build test setup topologies for appropriate product coverage, emphasizing emulation of large-scale / complex customer environments.
- Design, mentor testing automation team members, and implement tests for new features as part of NVIDIA's network switch and adapters division.
- Lead POC activities and drive innovation based on field demands.
- Generate comprehensive test reports during release execution, assist with reproduction and debugging of complex customer use cases, and determine root causes.
- Act as engineering PIC for full verification cycles of customer use cases, coordinating fixes with R&D teams.
- Execute end-to-end test scenarios across Regression, Performance, Functional, and Scale scopes.
- Report testing progress and provide summary reports of testing activity.
Requirements
- B.A./B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience as an IT/Network Engineer.
- 8+ years of practical experience in the domain.
- Significant hands-on experience with Linux-based platforms.
- Experience with L2 & L3 network protocols.
- Fast, self-directed learner with outstanding technical skills.
- Independent, responsible worker able to plan and complete tasks.
- Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ways to stand out from the crowd
- Experience with virtualization technologies (KVM, Hyper-V, VMware, OpenStack, Kubernetes).
- Background with NAS and/or SAN storage systems.
- Scripting skills and experience: Bash / Python.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary ranges (determined by location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions):
- Level 4: 160,000 USD - 253,000 USD
- Level 5: 192,000 USD - 304,750 USD
- Eligible for equity and benefits.
