Details
NVIDIA is looking for a brilliant Software & Systems Architect to join the NIC Software/Firmware Architecture group. Be part of a team crafting the upcoming data-center DPU generation with hardware and software architects, R&D teams, and external customers. The team’s mission is to push the frontiers of what is possible today and to define next-generation platforms of tomorrow.
Responsibilities
- Define next-generation DPU/SmartNIC architecture and features for computing clusters and data-centers.
- Define the software stack from application level to hardware interface, ensuring flawless integration.
- Collaborate closely with hardware architects to define new hardware features and software-hardware interfaces for diverse use cases.
- Conduct research in network protocols, new network technologies, networking drivers, accelerations, and offloading of various network-related tasks.
- Explore a wide range of topics, including Generative AI (inference and training), storage, cyber security, HPC, and emulation offloads.
- Interact with customers and guide R&D teams during design and development.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience in the field.
- Proven track record of quickly adapting to new technologies and delving deep into new areas.
- Outstanding ability to work independently, interact with customers, and guide R&D teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to drive innovative solutions for complex requirements and issues.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary ranges (location, experience, and level dependent):
- Level 4: 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD
- Level 5: 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD
- Eligible for equity and benefits.
