Details
Computer graphics is undergoing its most significant transformation since the invention of the GPU. Neural Shading represents the convergence of AI and traditional rendering, opening unprecedented possibilities for real-time visual experiences. The Neural Graphics team leads this transformation, bringing together research and product development to enable AI-driven techniques in graphics workloads, including work with Slang (an open-source language and compiler for portable real-time graphics programming).
Responsibilities
- Define and drive Neural Graphics technology strategy and set company-level technical directions for AI-driven rendering.
- Pioneer state-of-the-art neural shading techniques that integrate with traditional graphics pipelines.
- Connect research and product teams to develop modern concepts into production-ready technologies and drive transfers from research to shipping products.
- Drive progress in AI innovation for real-time graphics and simulation technologies and collaborate across teams to influence hardware design and technical standards for neural shading.
- Lead patent development and IP strategy and make technical decisions critical to major product success.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Graphics, Machine Learning, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of proven experience with a sustained history of remarkable technical contributions, or equivalent outstanding achievements.
- Extensive knowledge of real-time rendering, neural networks, and physics simulation.
- Background in world models, neural content generation, or AI technologies applied to entertainment, graphics, and media creation.
- Track record of successful technology transfers from research to production.
- Proven ability to lead complex technical projects across teams and take research from concept to production.
Ways to stand out:
- Experience spanning graphics, AI, and physics, including emerging areas such as neural radiance fields or differentiable rendering.
- Non-traditional interdisciplinary backgrounds (e.g., neuroscience or materials science).
- Industry recognition through conference presentations, awards, or contributions to graphics/AI projects.
Compensation and Other Details
- Base salary ranges provided by location and level:
- Level 5: 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD
- Level 6: 272,000 USD - 431,250 USD
- Eligible for equity and benefits.
