Details

Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source company with a global user base for Grafana and related observability projects. The company provides Grafana Cloud (managed) and Grafana Enterprise Stack (self-managed) featuring scalable metrics (Grafana Mimir), logs (Grafana Loki), and traces (Grafana Tempo).

About Product Management

As a Product Manager at Grafana Labs you'll develop a vision and strategy for your product domain, own your product roadmap, collateral, and market research, and collaborate with Grafana leadership on product goals. You will be the primary advocate and expert in your area and must communicate needs and functionality effectively to both external customers and internal stakeholders. Teams are 100% remote and globally distributed, so strong and proactive communication is essential.

The opportunity

As the Product Manager for Performance Testing, you'll own the Grafana Cloud experience for performance testing, built around the k6 open-source project. You'll define how customers write, run, and act on performance tests across the software delivery lifecycle — ensuring Grafana Cloud k6 becomes the default choice for teams replacing legacy tools and adopting shift-left testing. The portfolio spans Grafana Cloud k6 (commercial cloud product executing at scale from 21 global locations) and k6 OSS (open-source CLI).

You will define how test results integrate with Grafana Cloud's metrics, logs, and traces to quickly surface offending traces from failed load tests. You'll evolve performance testing across modalities such as protocol, browser, and mobile, and deliver an integrated, opinionated cloud experience. You'll also work across R&D to weave Performance Testing into the broader Grafana Cloud suite — connecting with platforms like the Knowledge Graph and core Cloud products (Application Observability, Kubernetes Monitoring) so customers can navigate between pre-production validation and production monitoring.
