Details
Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source company powering observability for more than 20M users and thousands of companies. The Product Manager for Performance Testing will own the Grafana Cloud experience for performance testing, built around the k6 open-source project, spanning Grafana Cloud k6 and k6 OSS. The role focuses on defining how customers write, run, and act on performance tests, integrating test results with Grafana Cloud metrics, logs, and traces, and evolving performance testing across protocol, browser, and mobile modalities. The PM will work across R&D to connect Performance Testing with other Grafana Cloud products and platform services.
Responsibilities
- Transform ideas and feedback into a product vision and roadmap
- Empathize with customer problems to collect user needs, requirements, and pain points
- Curate and represent user feedback to Engineering, providing evidence to support tradeoffs and priorities
- Work closely with Product Marketing (PMM) to enable GTM on product differentiation, including creating and updating presentations, documentation, website content, datasheets, and whitepapers
- Make decisions about go-to-market strategies, pricing, packaging, licensing and tiering
- Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and UX to deliver integrated, opinionated cloud experiences customers want to pay for and stay with
Requirements
- BS/BA in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of experience in Product Management
- 5+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS product
- Experience using or building developer-facing tools, APIs, or platform services
- Ability to discuss APIs, data models, schema evolution, and distributed systems concepts
- Experience driving adoption of shared services or platform capabilities across multiple product teams
- Experience working with Engineering and Design teams to build products with sound UX in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
Bonus Points
- Experience with open source software and/or commercial open source companies
- Experience using or building observability products and/or developer tools, either internally as an SRE or for external customers
- Proficiency with infrastructure concepts and components such as Kubernetes, Cloud Service Providers, and VMs
- Experience with AI tools
Compensation & Location
- This is a fully remote position; the company is considering candidates in the United Kingdom
- In the UK, the base compensation range for this role is GBP 91,755 - 110,106. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset. All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
