Details
Eneco operates a rapidly growing portfolio of connected and steerable energy assets across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany — including wind and solar farms, heat and power units and large‑scale batteries. These assets are used to keep the electricity grid stable, prevent blackouts and generate value in energy and flexibility markets. The Senior Product Manager Assets is end-to-end responsible for the product strategy and development of the SCADA, connectivity, network and edge device portfolio that connects large-scale assets to Eneco’s Virtual Power Plant (VPP).
Responsibilities
- Translate Eneco’s business goals into a clear product vision and roadmap for SCADA systems, network/connectivity solutions and RTUs/edge devices.
- Define KPIs and service levels and ensure they are consistently met.
- Work closely with engineers, OT specialists, business stakeholders and asset operations teams to set priorities and make informed decisions.
- Manage SLAs and incident processes; translate disruptions into structural improvements.
- Ensure high reliability, availability and performance across the asset portfolio to support 24/7 mission‑critical operations.
- Safeguard solutions meet Enaeco’s security and compliance requirements.
- Lead end‑to‑end product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive modernisation and international expansion of the portfolio.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager in complex, technical environments.
- Strong domain knowledge of Operational Technology (OT), SCADA systems, connectivity and/or edge solutions.
- Experience with RTUs/edge devices and network/connectivity solutions.
- Modern, product‑driven mindset and ability to bridge OT with IT and IoT.
- Comfortable operating in dynamic, continuously evolving contexts and supporting 24/7 operations.
- Skilled in stakeholder management across engineering, operations and business teams.
- Data‑driven focus on performance, reliability and continuous improvement.
- Fluent in both Dutch and English.

- Gross annual salary between €110.000 and €1.350.000 (including FlexBudget, 8% holiday allowance, and depending on role a bonus or collective profit sharing).
