We are very focused on understanding and building products to fulfill the diverse set of financial services needs for our customer segments including Retail & Institutional and be the primary financial account leveraging Finance 2.0 principles and crypto technology. As part of that journey, a key area of focus is the payments platform which powers all of the payments at Coinbase.

We are looking for goal-oriented, self-motivated, Sr. Product Manager who thrives in a fast paced startup environment, comfortable with dealing with ambiguity, is able to think through complex challenges & align cross functional teams effectively to launch products. Previous experience in building customer facing products, payments knowledge is definitely a value add for this role. Someone who has a proven track record of building & launching payment product solutions, someone who understands the workings of cards & banks including ACH & networks.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Owns multiple areas and/or one large complex area that impacts multiple teams and metrics.
• Develops solutions to problems by collaborating and leading across regions, product areas, and functions as needed.
• Drive the entire product lifecycle (launches, maintenance, and retirement) in collaboration with other cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ruthlessly balance and prioritize across all stakeholder objectives.
• Identify and validate new opportunities (user-based, strategic, business, etc).
• Develop multi-year strategies and roadmaps around with high business impact and acumen.

What We Look For In You:

• 6+ years of product management experience.
• 3 years of experience taking products from conception to launch.
• Experience working with, balancing needs, and maintaining strong relationships across a wide variety of stakeholders.
• Experience navigating and influencing senior leadership across multiple functions.
• Demonstrated ability in working with a high degree of business and technical complexity across a broad product portfolio.
• Demonstrated ability to ship a holistic product experience without “shipping the org chart.”
• Aptitude for learning and ability to ramp quickly on new and potentially complicated domains.
• Demonstrated passion for cryptocurrency, financial markets, and the Coinbase mission.

Nice to Have:

• Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
• 3 years of experience in software development or engineering.
• 1-2 years of people management experience with direct reports, and in technical leadership.
