Details
NVIDIA's SOC Hardware Infrastructure team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy and evolution of internal infrastructure and tools used across ASIC hardware development. The role drives the platform's expansion to meet the needs of diverse operational models across ASIC hardware and larger teams, with a mission to accelerate engineering velocity, support AI adoption in chip design, and enable seamless collaboration between hardware and software development.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for hardware infrastructure supporting large-scale chip and software development, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Partner closely with internal engineering teams to integrate infrastructure tools into day-to-day development and optimize hardware engineer workflows.
- Own the evolution of infrastructure architecture, accelerate chip design using state-of-the-art AI solutions, and structure code to support complex programs and distributed teams.
- Lead cross-functional alignment across engineering leaders to deliver roadmaps against ambitious timelines and goals.
- Establish processes, metrics, and indicators; use data to amplify team performance, measure impact on business outcomes, communicate and resolve bottlenecks, and prioritize work.
- Drive long-term investments in scalability and reliability to support growing codebases, increasing team sizes, and next-generation silicon and software programs.
- Champion guidelines for maintaining code integrity, review standards, and versioning strategies to enable efficient collaboration and reduce integration risk ahead of tapeout.
Requirements
- B.S. (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of product management experience, including ownership of hardware platforms, infrastructure, or internal tools.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with highly technical engineering teams and driving products from concept through delivery.
- Proven track record defining product strategy, prioritizing roadmaps, and delivering measurable improvements in developer productivity or system performance.
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure deployments and challenges related to performance, collaboration, and developer productivity.
- Solid understanding of source control systems (Git, Perforce) and code collaboration workflows such as branching strategies, code reviews, and large-scale merges.
- Analytical approach: defining success measures, tracking adoption, and finding opportunities to improve workflow efficiency.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority across geo-distributed teams.
- Track record of driving adoption of internal platforms and influencing engineering culture (developer productivity, code health, review practices, versioning standards).
Preferred / Ways To Stand Out
- Experience supporting hardware or infrastructure platforms and understanding of pre-silicon development workflows.
- Experience supporting AI infrastructure platforms and knowledge of ML / LLM workflows.
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale source control systems such as Perforce and Git in large, distributed engineering organizations.
- Experience with infrastructure architecture decisions, complex workstream management, and resolving conflicting priorities.
Benefits and Compensation
- Base salary range by level: Level 4: 168,000 USD - 258,750 USD; Level 5: 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD.
- Eligible for equity and company benefits (link provided in original posting).
