Details
Grafana Labs is a remote-first open-source company building observability tools used globally. The Senior Product Manager for Infrastructure Observability will own vision and strategy for Grafana Cloud's infrastructure suite (Kubernetes Monitoring and Cloud Provider Observability), drive product roadmaps, perform heavy customer discovery, and collaborate closely with engineering, design, and GTM teams to deliver a cohesive infrastructure observability experience.
Responsibilities
- Transform ideas and customer feedback into a clear product vision and roadmap
- Empathize with customer problems to collect user needs, requirements, and pain points
- Curate and represent user feedback to Engineering, providing evidence to support tradeoffs and priorities
- Work closely with Product Marketing (PMM) to enable GTM on product differentiation, including creating/updating presentations, documentation, website content, datasheets, and whitepapers
- Make decisions about go-to-market strategies, pricing, packaging, licensing, and tiering
- Coordinate cross-functional alignment across multiple engineering groups and stakeholders
- Establish integration touchpoints across Grafana Cloud products (e.g., Knowledge Graph, Grafana Assistant) to deliver a seamless monitoring experience
Requirements
- BS/BA in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of experience in Product Management
- 5+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS product
- Experience using or building developer-facing tools, APIs, or platform services
- Ability to discuss APIs, data models, schema evolution, and distributed systems concepts
- Experience driving adoption of shared services or platform capabilities across multiple product teams
- Experience working with Engineering and Design teams to build products with strong UX in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
Bonus / Preferred
- Experience with open source software and/or commercial open source companies
- Experience using or building observability products and/or developer tools, either internally as an SRE or for external customers
- Proficiency with infrastructure concepts and components such as Kubernetes, Cloud Service Providers, and VMs
- Experience with AI tools
Location & Working Model
- This is a fully remote position. Grafana Labs is considering candidates in Canada (Eastern Time). Remote-first company culture, globally distributed teams.
Compensation
- In Canada, the base compensation range for this role is $164,490 CAD - $197,389 CAD. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset. All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
