Details
Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source company that builds observability tools used by millions worldwide. The Senior Product Manager for Infrastructure Observability will define vision and strategy for Grafana Cloud’s infrastructure suite (Kubernetes Monitoring and Cloud Provider Observability), drive customer discovery, and work closely with engineering, design, and GTM teams to deliver integrated, customer-focused experiences across the Grafana Cloud product suite.
Responsibilities
- Transform ideas and customer feedback into a clear product vision and roadmap for Infrastructure Observability (Infra O11y).
- Conduct heavy customer discovery to collect user needs, requirements, and pain points.
- Curate and represent user feedback to Engineering, providing evidence to support tradeoffs and priorities.
- Collaborate with PMM to enable go-to-market activities, including presentations, documentation, website content, datasheets, and whitepapers.
- Make decisions on go-to-market strategy, pricing, packaging, licensing, and tiering.
- Work with engineering partners to balance new initiatives (e.g., Host Monitoring) and maintenance of mature products.
- Ensure tight integration of Infra O11y experiences with other Grafana Cloud offerings (e.g., Knowledge Graph, Grafana Assistant) to provide seamless customer workflows.
Requirements
- BS/BA in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of experience in Product Management.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product management.
- Experience using or building developer-facing tools, APIs, or platform services.
- Ability to discuss APIs, data models, schema evolution, and distributed systems concepts.
- Experience driving adoption of shared services or platform capabilities across multiple product teams.
- Experience working with Engineering and Design teams to build products with sound UX in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Bonus Points
- Experience with open source software and/or commercial open source companies.
- Experience using or building observability products and/or developer tools, either internally as an SRE or for external customers.
- Proficiency with infrastructure concepts and components such as Kubernetes, Cloud Service Providers, and VMs.
- Experience with AI tools.
Compensation and Benefits
- Sweden base compensation range: SEK 775,444 - 930,533 (actual compensation may vary by level, experience, and market).
- All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
