This is a fully remote position and we're considering candidates in Ireland.

Role overview

As a Product Manager at Grafana Labs, you'll develop a vision and strategy for your product domain, own your product’s roadmap, collateral, and market research, and collaborate with Grafana leadership on product goals. You will be the primary advocate and expert in your area, communicating needs and functionality to external customers and internal stakeholders. The teams you will interact with are 100% remote and globally distributed.

As the Senior Product Manager for Infrastructure Observability (Infra O11y) you’ll be responsible for Grafana Cloud products spanning the infrastructure suite: Kubernetes Monitoring and Cloud Provider Observability. Infra O11y provides customers the ability to monitor core services across self-serve and enterprise customers. You will define the vision and ensure long-term success of Infra O11y, drive net-new initiatives (e.g., Host Monitoring), maintain roadmap and customer satisfaction for mature products, and integrate experiences with other Grafana Cloud offerings like Grafana Cloud Knowledge Graph and Grafana Assistant.

Responsibilities

  • Transform ideas and feedback into a product vision and roadmap
  • Conduct heavy customer discovery to understand user needs and pain points
  • Curate and represent user feedback to Engineering and provide evidence for tradeoffs and priorities
  • Work closely with Product Marketing (PMM) to enable GTM on product differentiation (presentations, documentation, website content, datasheets, whitepapers)
  • Make decisions about go-to-market strategies, pricing, packaging, licensing and tiering
  • Build consensus and alignment across multiple Engineering groups and stakeholders
  • Establish integration touchpoints with other Grafana Cloud products to ensure seamless customer experiences

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of experience in Product Management
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product management
  • Experience using or building developer-facing tools, APIs, or platform services
  • Ability to discuss APIs, data models, schema evolution, and distributed systems concepts
  • Experience driving adoption of shared services or platform capabilities across multiple product teams
  • Experience working with Engineering and Design teams to build products with strong UX in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders

Bonus Points

  • Experience with open source software and/or commercial open source companies
  • Experience using or building observability products and/or developer tools, either internally as an SRE or for external customers
  • Proficiency with infrastructure concepts and components such as Kubernetes, Cloud Service Providers, and VMs
  • Experience with AI tools

Compensation

In Ireland, the base compensation range for this role is EUR 104,000 - 124,800. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset. All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
