Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source company with a global user base and commercial products (Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise Stack) built around scalable metrics (Grafana Mimir), logs (Grafana Loki), and traces (Grafana Tempo).

This is a fully remote position; Grafana Labs is considering candidates in Spain for this role.

Role overview

As a Product Manager at Grafana Labs you will develop a vision and strategy for your product domain, own the product roadmap and collateral, conduct market research, and collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams. You will be the primary advocate and expert for Infrastructure Observability (Infra O11y), focused on Kubernetes Monitoring and Cloud Provider Observability and responsible for defining vision, long-term success, and new initiatives (e.g., Host Monitoring). The role requires heavy customer discovery, aligning multiple engineering groups and stakeholders, and collaborating on GTM activities including pricing and packaging.

Responsibilities

  • Transform ideas and feedback into a product vision and roadmap
  • Conduct customer discovery to collect user needs, requirements, and pain points
  • Curate and represent user feedback to Engineering and provide evidence to support tradeoffs and priorities
  • Work closely with Product Marketing (PMM) to enable GTM: presentations, documentation, website content, datasheets, and whitepapers
  • Make decisions about go-to-market strategies, pricing, packaging, licensing, and tiering
  • Chart the path for new product initiatives while maintaining roadmap and customer satisfaction for mature products
  • Ensure integrations and seamless experience across Grafana Cloud offerings (for example, with Grafana Cloud Knowledge Graph and Grafana Assistant)

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of experience in Product Management
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS products
  • Experience using or building developer-facing tools, APIs, or platform services
  • Ability to discuss APIs, data models, schema evolution, and distributed systems concepts
  • Experience driving adoption of shared services or platform capabilities across multiple product teams
  • Experience working with Engineering and Design teams to build products with strong UX in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders

Bonus points

  • Experience with open source software and/or commercial open source companies
  • Experience using or building observability products and/or developer tools, either internally as an SRE or for external customers
  • Proficiency with infrastructure concepts and components such as Kubernetes, Cloud Service Providers, and VMs
  • Experience with AI tools

Compensation

In Spain, the base compensation range for this role is EUR 82,988 - 99,586. All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Compensation ranges are country specific; candidates applying from other locations will have market-specific pay ranges discussed by the recruiter.
