This role is fully remote and Grafana Labs is considering candidates based in Germany.

Role overview

As a Product Manager you will develop a vision and strategy for your product domain, own the product roadmap, collateral, and market research, and collaborate with leadership to fine-tune product goals. You will be the primary advocate and expert in your area, communicating needs and functionality to external customers and internal stakeholders across a globally distributed, remote team.

As Senior Product Manager for Infrastructure Observability (Infra O11y) you will own Grafana Cloud products spanning the infrastructure suite (Kubernetes Monitoring and Cloud Provider Observability). Responsibilities include defining the long-term vision for Infra O11y, driving net-new initiatives (e.g., Host Monitoring), maintaining roadmap and customer satisfaction for mature products, heavy customer discovery, and aligning multiple engineering groups and stakeholders. You will also contribute to GTM activities such as competitive analysis, sales enablement, pricing, and packaging.

Responsibilities

  • Transform ideas and feedback into a product vision and roadmap
  • Empathize with customer problems to collect user needs, requirements, and pain points
  • Curate and represent user feedback to Engineering, providing evidence for tradeoffs and priorities
  • Work closely with Product Marketing (PMM) to enable GTM: presentations, documentation, website content, datasheets, whitepapers
  • Make decisions about go-to-market strategies, pricing, packaging, licensing, and tiering
  • Drive adoption of shared services or platform capabilities across multiple product teams
  • Ensure integration of Infra O11y experiences with broader Grafana Cloud offerings (e.g., Knowledge Graph, Grafana Assistant)

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of Product Management experience
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product environments
  • Experience using or building developer-facing tools, APIs, or platform services
  • Ability to discuss APIs, data models, schema evolution, and distributed systems concepts
  • Experience driving adoption of shared services or platform capabilities across multiple product teams
  • Experience working with Engineering and Design teams to build products with good UX in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders

Bonus (nice-to-have)

  • Experience with open source software and/or commercial open source companies
  • Experience using or building observability products and/or developer tools (internally as an SRE or for external customers)
  • Proficiency with infrastructure concepts and components such as Kubernetes, Cloud Service Providers, and VMs
  • Experience with AI tools
