Senior Product Manager - MetaMask Transactions

MetaMask is a popular crypto wallet and decentralized web gateway used by over 30 million monthly active users. It functions as a decentralized application platform, cryptocurrency exchange aggregator, and identity manager.

Responsibilities

• Own the MetaMask transaction experience and monetization strategy including Smart Transactions and Gas Station.
• Lead transaction optimization across all MetaMask experiences and platforms, maximizing success rates and MEV protection.
• Enable users to pay gas fees with any token and make the transaction experience seamless.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, analysts, researchers, and designers to expand transaction optimization features.
• Define a long-term vision for simplifying and securing MetaMask transactions.
• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with cross-functional teams.
• Research user problems and stay ahead in the Web3 ecosystem.
• Drive adoption of crypto-first product features and shape standards for building consumer products.
• Lead and grow a cross-functional team focused on user-centric, discovery-led, data-driven development.

Requirements

• Passion for crypto/DeFi, fintech, open platforms, and financial inclusivity.
• 5+ years in product management with experience driving consumer products from discovery to launch.
• 2+ years experience in the Web3 space, familiarity with DeFi ecosystem, MetaMask, Ethereum, L2s, and dApps.
• Solid understanding of blockchain technologies and transaction optimization techniques.

Bonus Points

• Experience with MEV, order flow auctions, or gas abstraction.
• Hands-on technical experience in smart contract and backend development.

The salary range for US-based candidates is $155,000 to $210,000 USD, determined throughout the interview process based on experience and skills.
